    • Business Link Pacific: BLP is a New Zealand-funded private sector development programme set up to help support small and medium-sized local enterprises (5-50 employees) in the Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea.     • Young Enterprise Scheme: Administered by the Chamber on behalf of the Young Enterprise Trust in New Zealand and sponsored by BCI, the YES programme has been a feature of the Tereora College business studies class since 2013, teaching students how to set up and run their very own businesses. Membership Services

If you’re engaged in commerce, trade, industry or any profession in the Cook Islands, join the Chamber of Commerce and become a member. If you’re a Cook Islands Chamber of Commerce member, you can rely on us to always have your business’s best interests at heart.

    • Providing assistance with financial records and helping legitimise previously unregistered small businesses so they can access government grants and other financial support.
    • Helping establish new and mutually beneficial customer and supplier relationships between businesses of all sizes – many of whom might never have connected otherwise.
    • Facilitating access to overseas funding, most notably through New Zealand’s Business Link Pacific programme, which subsidises the cost of expert professional advice for local Cook Islands businesses.
    • Opening up potential new avenues of profit for existing businesses by encouraging and stimulating ideas on how they might diversify their products and services.
    • Representing the private sector on various national boards and committees, including the National Labour Advisory Board, Cook Islands National Superannuation Fund, Minimum Wage Review Panel and the Liquor Licensing Authority.
