Sole Traders Bookkeeping Workshop
Funded by the International Labour Organization, this free workshop provides basic bookkeeping and accounts training for sole traders and small business owners and/or managers. The two-hour session covers a variety of topics, offering advice on things like keeping your financial records up to date, managing your tax obligations and how to sign up for the Cook Islands National Superannuation Fund. Every registration receives a free bookkeeping starter pack.
Business 101 Course
Funded by Business Link Pacific, this is a one-day 'crash course' designed to give attendees a better basic understanding of subjects like business planning, business accounting and financial management, business marketing and business technology. A little more in-depth than our bookkeeping workshop, Business 101 is tailormade to the needs of small business owners in the Cook Islands, providing upskilling in areas such as finance, strategy, marketing and technology.
Social Media Masterclass
Delivered in partnership with Pacific Trade Invest Australia, this 90-minute session steps you through how to get the most out of your social media, providing an opportunity to learn how using Facebook and Instagram can help drive sales within your business, create brand awareness and maintain customer loyalty. You'll be given expert advice on creating the right content for your business and using online interaction with your customer base to its full advantage.
Lean Canvas Business Plan
A Lean Canvas is a one-page business plan template. It’s designed to create a snapshot of your business idea, identify your product or service, and break it down into key parts. This 90-minute workshop covers the business plan basics, explaining why every business should have their own personalised business plan and how this simple tool can help transform the way you do business.
